1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy applies to Music player - Mp4 to Mp3 (the “Application”), operated by Monova Tech Pvt. Ltd. (“we,” “us,” “our,” or the “Service Provider”).
It explains the handling of information when you use the Application in the configuration described above or communicate with us. It distinguishes information accessed or processed on your device from information received by the Service Provider.
We are responsible for personal information that we receive and determine how to use, including support messages and privacy requests. Where applicable law uses the term “data controller,” we act as controller for that processing.
2. Information We Handle
Audio files, videos, and media information
The Application accesses media you select or make available through the access granted on your device. This includes audio files for playback and MP4 files selected for conversion to MP3.
Relevant media information can include file names, file locations, file sizes, duration, format, title, artist, album information, and embedded artwork. The Application processes the information needed to identify, open, display, play, or convert the selected media.
Media can contain personal information, including voices, images, names, and descriptive metadata. Extracting audio from a video does not make the resulting audio anonymous.
Conversion output and temporary information
A conversion processes the selected video's audio content and produces an MP3 file. The process can involve local working data, temporary files, progress information, and an output file name and location.
In the configuration covered here, this processing takes place on the device. Source media, working data, and converted files are not uploaded to us or a remote conversion service.
Playback information and preferences
The Application uses the selected track, playback position, and player state to perform your playback choices. Any preferences or recent-file records saved by the covered configuration remain in local app storage, subject to device backup arrangements.
Communications you send to us
When you contact us, we receive your email address, message, attachments, and ordinary email delivery information. You may choose to include a device model, Android version, app version, or description of a problem.
Please avoid sending passwords, identity documents, private recordings, or complete media files unless they are necessary to resolve a specific issue. Remove unrelated personal information from screenshots or sample files before sending them.
3. Music Playback and MP4-to-MP3 Conversion
In the covered configuration, media is processed locally to play music and convert selected MP4 audio into MP3. The Application does not create a server-side copy of your music collection, conversion history, or converted files.
Converting an existing recording is different from recording your surroundings. This configuration does not capture microphone audio, telephone calls, or conversations.
The Application's local processing does not prevent a storage provider you choose from handling files. For example, selecting a file from a cloud-backed document provider or saving output to one can involve transfers performed by that provider.
Converted audio can reveal the same voices or other personal content as its source. File names and supported metadata may also reveal information. Review the output and its destination before sharing or uploading it elsewhere.
Deleting the source video does not necessarily delete an extracted MP3, and deleting the MP3 does not necessarily delete its source. Manage each retained copy separately.
4. Android Permissions and Device Access
Media access depends on the Android version and the file-access method used by the Application. Access may be provided through a system file picker, a music-and-audio or video permission, or a storage permission used on older Android versions.
These mechanisms are alternatives governed by the implementation and device. This policy does not imply that every permission is requested on every device.
Access is used to open selected media, obtain relevant media information, perform conversion, and save output where access permits. Declining or withdrawing access can prevent affected files from being opened or saved.
Where background playback or conversion is available, an operation you start may continue after leaving the app's screen. System controls or notifications can display track names, file names, or operation status. Consider your lock-screen settings when processing private media.
The covered configuration does not use microphone, camera, contacts, message, call-history, or precise location access for playback or conversion.
You can review available permissions in Android settings. Revoking access limits future access covered by that permission; it does not necessarily erase files or information already stored.

5. How Information Is Used
Information processed locally is used to provide requested playback and conversion, display relevant media information, save output, and retain supported preferences. It is not used by us to profile your listening habits.
Information you separately send to us is used to respond to your communication, investigate reported issues, handle privacy requests, and comply with applicable legal obligations. Where necessary and legally permitted, it may also be used to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
We do not use support correspondence to enrol you in marketing campaigns or build advertising profiles.
Legal grounds where required
Where a legal basis is required, responding to ordinary support requests is based on our legitimate interest in assisting users and resolving reported problems, subject to their rights and interests. Processing necessary to comply with an applicable legal obligation is based on that obligation.
Where an activity requires consent, that consent must relate to the activity concerned. You may withdraw consent without affecting processing lawfully carried out before withdrawal. Installing the Application or continuing to use it is not a substitute for affirmative consent where required.
6. Third-Party Services and Information Disclosures
Advertising, analytics, and accounts
The configuration covered by this policy does not contain advertising, analytics, or automatic crash-reporting SDKs. It does not use advertising identifiers or cross-app tracking and does not require an app account for playback or conversion.
We do not sell personal information received through support communications or share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
Information you choose to share
If you send an output file through another app or upload it to a service, that recipient receives the file and any accompanying information. Its processing is governed by its own practices. Removing your local copy does not recall copies already delivered to others.
Business communications and legal disclosures
Email delivery, storage, and support-administration providers may process information needed to handle messages you send us.
We may also disclose information we hold where necessary and legally permitted to comply with binding legal requirements, protect people's safety, investigate unlawful activity, or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
A merger, acquisition, reorganisation, or transfer of relevant business assets may involve associated records, subject to applicable privacy requirements and any required notice or consent.
Independent platform services
Android, your device manufacturer, your app store, and independently selected storage or email services can process information under their own privacy notices. This is distinct from an SDK integrated into the Application, whose relevant practices must be covered by the Application's disclosures.
This HTML document contains no scripts, tracking pixels, or externally loaded fonts. Its hosting service may separately process connection and request information. The absence of tracking code does not establish that the hosting server keeps no access logs.
7. Data Storage and Retention
Original media and converted files
Source files and exported MP3 files remain in their storage locations until deleted or otherwise managed by you or the relevant storage service. Files saved outside app-specific storage can remain after the Application is uninstalled.
Temporary files and local settings
Temporary conversion files and cached information may remain until removed through app cleanup, operating-system storage management, or your use of the device's cache or app-data controls. This policy does not promise immediate deletion after every conversion.
Saved preferences and other local app records remain until replaced, reset, or removed. Clearing app data can also remove app-specific outputs that have not been exported elsewhere.
Support and privacy-request records
Our retention policy is to keep correspondence while resolving the request and necessary follow-up. Afterwards, identifiable information is retained only where needed for an unresolved matter, an applicable legal obligation, or legal claims.
A limited record of a privacy request and our response may be retained where necessary to demonstrate proper handling. Unrelated information is not retained merely because a request was made. Information no longer needed for a legitimate retention purpose is to be deleted or irreversibly anonymised.
Backups
Depending on app configuration, Android version, and your settings, device backup or transfer services may preserve or restore local app data. Copies in backups or independently synchronised folders can have a separate lifecycle.
Platform information: Android app-data backup .
8. Your Choices and Data Deletion
Manage local information
Use Android settings to review permissions, clear cached data, clear app storage, or uninstall the Application. Available menu names vary by device. Preserve any files you need before clearing storage.
Use your device's file manager or the relevant storage provider to remove source media and exported MP3 files. Manage backups, shared copies, and cloud folders separately.
Removing an item from a player list or conversion history is not necessarily the same as deleting its underlying file. Revoking a permission also does not automatically delete previously created output.
Request deletion from us
To request deletion of personal information you have sent us, email rajesh@monovatech.com with the subject Music player - Mp4 to Mp3 — Data Deletion Request .
Identify the communication or information concerned. Where possible, use the email address associated with the original communication. We may request limited information where necessary and legally appropriate to verify the request.
We cannot remotely retrieve or delete media stored only on your device. Uninstalling the Application does not erase emails you previously sent us or automatically submit a deletion request.
Where a lawful retention exception applies, we will explain the relevant reason to the extent permitted by law. The covered configuration has no app accounts, but you can still request deletion of personal information separately held by us.
9. Your Privacy Rights
Your rights depend on your location, the processing involved, and applicable law. They are subject to legal conditions and exceptions.
European data-protection rights
Where the General Data Protection Regulation applies, you may have rights to access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection to certain processing. You may withdraw consent where processing relies on it and complain to the competent supervisory authority.
Applicable rights may also concern decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects. Local file conversion is not, by itself, such a decision.
California privacy rights
Where the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, applies, eligible California residents may have rights to know and access information, correct inaccuracies, request deletion, opt out of sale or qualifying sharing, limit certain uses of sensitive information, and exercise rights without unlawful discrimination.
Making a request
Contact us using Section 14. We will respond within applicable legal time limits and apply proportionate verification where legally appropriate. An authorised agent may act where permitted by applicable law.
If a request cannot be fulfilled, we will explain the reason and any required review or appeal procedure. You do not need to upload your media library simply to identify local activity that we do not otherwise receive.
Official information: European Commission privacy rights and California consumer privacy rights .
10. Children's Privacy
The covered local configuration does not require children or other users to submit personal information to us to play or convert media.
We do not use support communications to profile children or direct advertising to them. We will not knowingly retain a child's personal information in circumstances that violate applicable children's privacy requirements.
A parent or guardian who believes a child has sent us information that should not be retained may contact us. We will review the concern and take the action required by applicable law, including deletion or obtaining legally required authorisation where relevant.
11. International Processing
Monova Tech Pvt. Ltd. is based in Nepal. Information you send us may be accessed and handled in Nepal and processed by communication providers involved in delivering or storing your message.
This is separate from local playback and conversion, which do not upload media to us in the configuration covered here.
Where applicable law restricts an international transfer, the transfer must meet the relevant legal requirements. This document does not assert that a particular adequacy decision, contractual mechanism, or certification applies to every provider.
Contact us for information about the recipients, processing locations, and safeguards relevant to personal information you have provided.
12. Security and Personal-Data Incidents
Our policy is to restrict access to support and privacy correspondence to people and providers who need it for the purposes described here. Safeguards must be appropriate to the information and risks involved.
Local files are also affected by the security of your device, storage permissions, connected services, and backups. Review where exported files are saved and which other apps or people can access that location.
No electronic transmission or storage method can be guaranteed completely secure. This policy does not promise absolute security or claim an unverified security certification.
If an incident involving personal information under our control requires notification, we will notify the relevant authorities and affected individuals as required by applicable law.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in the Application, our practices, or applicable requirements. The published policy will display its last-updated date.
Where additional notice or consent is required for a material change, we will provide the required notice or obtain the required consent before the relevant processing begins.
Updating this document does not, by itself, authorise processing that requires a separate permission, prominent disclosure, or affirmative consent.
