1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy applies to Lcd broken prank (the “Application”), operated by Monova Tech Pvt. Ltd. (“we,” “us,” “our,” or the “Service Provider”).
It describes information handling for the configuration identified above and for communications you send to us. The intended app function is to display simulated broken-screen effects for entertainment.
Processing information on your device is different from transmitting it to us. This policy addresses both on-device processing and information we receive separately, such as support messages.
We are responsible for personal information we receive and determine how to use. Where applicable law uses the term “data controller,” we act as controller for that information.
2. Information We Handle
Effect settings and interaction information
In the configuration covered here, the Application processes your effect selections and interactions with its own controls to display and manage the selected simulation. Relevant settings can include an effect choice and, where offered, its timing, sound, vibration, or activation preferences.
Display dimensions and orientation may be used locally to position the effect correctly. Touch information received by the Application's own interface is used to respond to your actions, not to build a remote activity log.
Optional motion-trigger functionality
Where a shake-to-activate feature is included and enabled, motion-sensor readings are used on the device to recognise the activation movement. Under this policy's configuration, these readings are not uploaded or retained as a movement history.
A motion-trigger feature does not require recording surrounding audio. Playing an effect sound is also distinct from using the microphone.
Information you send to us
If you contact us, we receive your email address, message, attachments, and ordinary email delivery information. You may voluntarily provide your device model, Android version, app version, or a description of an issue.
Screenshots can reveal notifications, account names, or other private content. Remove unrelated information before sending a screenshot or other attachment. Do not send passwords or unnecessary identity documents.
3. Permissions, Overlays, and User Controls
Display over other apps
Where an overlay feature is implemented, the Application may request Android's “Display over other apps” special access to show the selected visual effect above another app. Android requires the relevant user authorisation for this access on supported versions.
In the configuration described here, overlay access is used only to display the effect and handle interaction with its controls. It is not used to record the screen, collect credentials, read other apps' content, or monitor activity in other apps.
You can revoke available overlay access through Android's special app-access settings. Removing that access prevents the overlay feature from operating; it does not necessarily remove saved app preferences.
Notifications and ongoing effects
Where an ongoing-effect feature uses a notification, the notification is for app status or controls. Showing the Application's own notifications is different from receiving access to notifications belonging to other apps.
Use available stop controls to end an effect. When an effect runs outside the main app screen, leaving that screen may not itself stop the effect. Android's app-info controls can also be used to force-stop the Application.
Sensitive capabilities outside this configuration
This configuration does not use camera or microphone recording, precise location, contacts, messages, call history, screen capture, or an accessibility service. It does not require broad photo-library access to render the included visual effects.
Permission names and settings vary by Android version and device. A permission granted for one feature does not authorise unrelated data processing.
4. How Information Is Used
Local information is used to display your selected effects, respond to supported activation controls, and retain available preferences. Under the described configuration, it is not transmitted to us for profiling or remote analytics.
Information you send to us is used to answer your communication, investigate reported issues, handle privacy requests, satisfy applicable legal obligations, and, where necessary and lawful, establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
Where a legal basis is required, ordinary support correspondence is handled on the basis of our legitimate interest in assisting users, subject to their rights and interests. Processing required by law is based on the relevant legal obligation. Consent is used where the particular activity legally requires it.
You may withdraw consent for processing that relies on it. Withdrawal does not affect earlier lawful processing. Installing the Application or continuing to use it is not a substitute for affirmative consent where required.
5. Advertising, Analytics, and External Services
The configuration covered by this document contains no advertising, analytics, or automatic crash-reporting SDKs and does not use advertising identifiers. It does not require an account or transmit an effect-usage history to us.
Advertising, downloadable content delivered by remote providers, or additional SDK collection would require separate, accurate disclosures. These practices cannot be inferred from the app's name.
Email delivery, email storage, and support-administration providers may process information included in messages you send us. We do not use that correspondence to enrol you in marketing campaigns.
Android, your app store, and your device manufacturer may independently process information for installations, updates, platform diagnostics, or backups under their own privacy notices. That is distinct from an SDK integrated into the Application.
This HTML document contains no scripts, tracking pixels, external fonts, or embedded advertising. Its hosting server may separately process connection information and access logs; the document's lack of tracking code does not establish otherwise.
6. When Information Is Disclosed
We do not receive local effect settings through the covered configuration and therefore do not disclose those settings from our servers.
Information you separately send us may be disclosed to communication and support providers as necessary to handle your request, in response to binding legal requirements, or where necessary and lawful to protect people or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
Relevant records may also be involved in a merger, acquisition, or transfer of business assets, subject to applicable privacy requirements and any required notice or consent.
Under this policy, support information is not sold or shared for cross-context behavioural advertising. Information is not considered anonymous merely because a direct name has been removed.
7. Storage and Retention
Local preferences remain in app storage until replaced, reset, or removed. Cached resources may remain until app cleanup, operating-system storage management, or your storage controls remove them.
Depending on app configuration and device settings, Android backup or device-transfer services may preserve or restore app data. Those copies may have a separate lifecycle from the installed app.
Our proposed retention rule for support correspondence is to keep it while resolving the request and necessary follow-up, then delete or irreversibly anonymise it unless an unresolved dispute or legal obligation justifies further retention.
A limited record of a privacy request and its outcome may be retained where necessary to demonstrate proper handling. Unrelated information is not retained merely because a request was made.
8. Your Choices and Data Deletion
You can review permissions and special access through Android settings. To remove local app information, use the app-storage controls to clear app data or uninstall the Application. Manage device backups separately where relevant.
Stopping an effect, revoking overlay access, and deleting app data are different actions. Stopping an effect does not necessarily erase preferences.
To request deletion of information you have sent us, email rajesh@monovatech.com with the subject Lcd broken prank — Data Deletion Request. Identify the communication or information concerned.
Where possible, use the email address associated with the original communication. We may request proportionate verification where necessary and legally appropriate.
We cannot remotely delete information stored only on your device. Uninstalling the Application does not erase messages previously sent to us or automatically submit a deletion request.
If a lawful retention exception applies, we will explain the relevant reason to the extent permitted by law. The covered configuration has no app accounts, but privacy requests remain available for information separately held by us.
9. Your Privacy Rights
Your rights depend on your location, the applicable law, and the processing involved.
Where the GDPR applies, rights may include access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, withdrawal of consent, and safeguards concerning certain automated decisions. You may complain to the competent supervisory authority.
Where the CCPA, as amended, applies, eligible California residents may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, opt out of sale or qualifying sharing, limit certain sensitive-data uses, and exercise rights without unlawful discrimination.
Contact us using Section 14. Requests will be handled within applicable legal time limits. Verification will not be imposed where prohibited. Authorised agents may act where permitted. A refusal will include the explanation and any review or appeal mechanism required by law.
10. Children's Privacy
The covered local-effect configuration does not require users to submit personal information to us to display an effect. We do not use support messages to profile children or target them with advertising.
A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided information that should not be retained may contact us. We will review the concern and take the action required by applicable law, including deletion or obtaining legally required authorisation where relevant.
This section does not establish an age rating or replace any obligations arising from the app's actual intended audience.
11. International Processing
Monova Tech Pvt. Ltd. is based in Nepal. Communications you send us may be handled in Nepal and by providers involved in delivering or storing your messages.
This is separate from the local rendering of visual effects. Any restricted international transfer must meet applicable legal requirements. This document does not claim that a particular contractual transfer mechanism or certification has been verified.
You may contact us for information about the recipients, locations, and safeguards relevant to information you have supplied.
12. Security
Our policy is to limit access to support and privacy correspondence to people and providers who need it for the purposes described here, and to apply safeguards proportionate to the information and risks involved.
Local settings are also affected by your device's security and backup arrangements. No electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure.
If an incident involving personal information under our control requires notification, we will notify the relevant authorities and affected individuals as required by applicable law.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may revise this policy to reflect changes in the Application, our practices, or applicable requirements. The published version will show its last-updated date.
Where additional notice or consent is required, it must be provided or obtained before the relevant processing begins. Updating a policy does not replace a required in-app disclosure, permission request, or affirmative consent.
