1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy applies to 100x Camera zoom (the “Application”), operated by Monova Tech Pvt. Ltd. (“we,” “us,” “our,” or the “Service Provider”).
It explains how information is accessed, processed, stored, and disclosed when you use the Application in the configuration described above or communicate with us. It distinguishes information processed locally on your device from information received by the Service Provider.
Monova Tech Pvt. Ltd. is responsible for personal information we receive and determine how to use, including support correspondence and privacy requests. Where applicable law uses the term “data controller,” we act as controller for that processing.
2. Information We Handle
Camera preview and captured photographs
The Application accesses the camera to display a live preview and capture photographs when you use its camera features. Camera frames are processed to provide the requested preview, framing, zoom controls, and image capture.
In the configuration covered by this policy, camera processing takes place on your device. We do not receive a remote camera feed or automatically upload your photographs to our servers.
Photographs and camera previews can contain personal information, including identifiable people, documents, addresses, and other private details. Local processing does not make that information anonymous.
Saved images and image metadata
When you save a photograph, the Application creates an image file in the storage location used by the relevant save function. Associated information can include a file name, capture date and time, image dimensions, and camera settings.
Where an image-opening feature is available, the Application accesses the images you make available to that feature. Existing files may contain additional metadata, including location information previously added by another app or device. This policy does not promise that metadata is automatically removed from every saved or shared image.
Settings and temporary information
The Application uses settings needed to carry out your camera choices. Where preferences or thumbnails are retained, the covered configuration stores them locally. Temporary processing information may also be used while preparing a preview or saving a photograph.
Support and privacy communications
When you contact us, we receive your email address, message content, attachments you choose to send, and ordinary email delivery information. You may voluntarily include a device model, Android version, app version, screenshot, or description of a problem.
Please avoid sending private photographs, identity documents, passwords, or other sensitive information that is unnecessary for your request. Remove unrelated personal details from screenshots or sample images.
3. Camera and Photo Permissions
Camera access
Camera access is used to display the preview and capture photographs. Declining or withdrawing this permission prevents the camera functions that depend on it from operating.
Access to the camera does not, by itself, authorise uploading photographs, recording microphone audio, or using images for unrelated purposes.
Photo and storage access
The access needed to open or save images depends on the Android version, storage location, and file-access method. Access may involve a system picker, selected images, or a media or storage permission where required by the implementation.
Saving an app-created image and browsing an entire existing photo library are different activities. The configuration covered here limits image access to the camera functions and files you choose to use.
Other sensitive access
The described configuration does not record microphone audio, request precise location, access contacts or messages, or create biometric identifiers from faces. It does not send photographs to a facial-recognition service or use them to train an AI model.
You can review and change available app permissions through Android settings. Controls and menu names vary by device and Android version. Revoking access limits future access covered by that permission; it does not necessarily delete files already created.
Official guidance: Android app permissions and Android photo picker .
4. How Information Is Used
Information processed on your device is used to provide the camera preview, respond to your camera controls, capture and save photographs, open supported images, and retain available preferences.
Information you separately send to us is used to respond to your communication, investigate reported problems, handle privacy requests, and comply with applicable legal obligations. Where necessary and legally permitted, it may also be used to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
We do not use support correspondence to enrol you in marketing campaigns or build advertising profiles.
Legal grounds where required
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, responding to ordinary support correspondence is based on our legitimate interest in assisting users and resolving reported problems, subject to their rights and interests. Processing necessary to comply with an applicable legal obligation is based on that obligation.
Where an activity requires consent, consent must relate to that activity. You may withdraw consent without affecting processing lawfully carried out before withdrawal. Installing the Application, granting a device permission, or continuing to use the Application does not automatically provide consent for unrelated processing.
5. Advertising, Analytics, and Tracking
The configuration covered by this policy does not contain advertising, analytics, or automatic crash-reporting SDKs. It does not use advertising identifiers or cross-app tracking technologies.
It does not require an app account and does not automatically send us a camera-usage history, photograph collection, or device-location history. Information you voluntarily include in a support message is handled separately as described above.
This HTML document contains no JavaScript, tracking pixels, embedded advertising, externally loaded fonts, or third-party images. The server hosting this page may separately handle connection information, such as an IP address and browser request details. The absence of tracking code in the document does not establish that the hosting service keeps no access logs.
7. Data Storage and Retention
Photographs
Photographs saved to your device's shared media storage remain there until you or another authorised app or service removes them. Uninstalling the Application does not necessarily delete photographs saved outside its app-specific storage.
Your gallery or storage service may independently synchronise photographs to a cloud account. Such synchronisation is different from an upload initiated by the covered Application.
Local settings and temporary files
Local preferences and app-specific records remain until replaced, reset, or removed. Cached images and temporary files may remain until app cleanup, operating-system storage management, or your use of the device's cache and app-data controls removes them.
This policy does not promise that every temporary file is deleted immediately after capture. Clearing app data can remove app-specific information and files that have not been saved elsewhere.
Support and privacy-request records
Our retention policy is to keep support correspondence while resolving the request and necessary follow-up. Afterwards, identifiable information is retained only where necessary for an unresolved matter, an applicable legal obligation, or the establishment, exercise, or defence of legal claims.
We may retain a limited record of a privacy request and our response where necessary to demonstrate appropriate handling. This does not justify retaining unrelated information that should otherwise be deleted.
Information no longer needed for a legitimate retention purpose is to be deleted or irreversibly anonymised.
Backups
Depending on app configuration, Android version, and device settings, backup or device-transfer services may preserve or restore local app data. Copies held in backups can have a separate lifecycle from data in the currently installed app.
Platform information: Android app-data backup .
8. Your Choices and Data Deletion
Manage information on your device
Use your gallery or file-management app to delete saved photographs. Check any recycle bin, recently deleted folder, cloud synchronisation service, or backup account separately where relevant.
Use Android's app-storage controls to clear cached information, clear app data, or uninstall the Application. Preserve files and preferences you need before clearing storage.
Revoking a permission, clearing app data, and deleting a photograph are different actions. One does not necessarily perform the others.
Request deletion of information held by us
To request deletion of personal information you have sent us, email rajesh@monovatech.com . Include the app name 100x Camera zoom and describe the communication or information concerned.
Where possible, contact us from the email address associated with the original communication. We may request limited additional information where necessary and legally appropriate to verify the request.
We cannot remotely retrieve or erase photographs that are stored only on your device. Uninstalling the Application does not delete messages you previously sent us or automatically submit a deletion request.
Where a lawful retention exception applies, we will explain the relevant reason to the extent permitted by law.
Accounts
The configuration covered here has no app accounts, so there is no app account to close. You can still request deletion of personal information separately held by us.
9. Your Privacy Rights
Your rights depend on your location, the processing involved, and applicable law. Legal conditions and exceptions can affect how a particular right applies.
European data-protection rights
Where the General Data Protection Regulation applies, you may have rights to access personal information, correct inaccuracies, request erasure, restrict processing, receive certain information in a portable format, and object to certain processing.
You may withdraw consent where processing relies on consent and complain to the competent supervisory authority. Applicable rights can also concern decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
California privacy rights
Where the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended, applies to our processing, eligible California residents may have rights to know and access personal information, correct inaccuracies, request deletion, opt out of sale or qualifying sharing, limit certain uses of sensitive personal information, and exercise rights without unlawful discrimination.
Making a request
Contact us using Section 14. We will address requests within applicable legal time limits. Verification will be proportionate and will not be required where the law prohibits it. An authorised agent may act where permitted by applicable law.
If a request cannot be fulfilled, we will explain the reason and any review or appeal mechanism required by applicable law. You do not need to upload your photo library simply to identify local app activity we do not otherwise receive.
Official information: European Commission privacy rights and California consumer privacy rights .
10. Children's Privacy
The covered local-camera configuration does not require children or other users to submit personal information to the Service Provider to take photographs. Photographs may nevertheless contain images of children and are handled as described in the camera and media sections above.
We do not use support correspondence to profile children or direct advertising to them. We will not knowingly retain a child's personal information in circumstances that violate applicable children's privacy requirements.
A parent or guardian who believes a child has sent us information that should not be retained may contact us. We will review the concern and take the action required by applicable law, including deletion or obtaining legally required authorisation where relevant.
11. International Processing
Monova Tech Pvt. Ltd. is based in Nepal. Information you send us may be accessed and handled in Nepal and processed by the communication providers involved in delivering or storing your message.
This is separate from the covered camera processing, which takes place on your device without uploading photographs to us.
Where applicable law restricts an international transfer, the transfer must meet the relevant legal requirements. This document does not assert that a particular adequacy decision, contractual mechanism, or certification applies to every provider.
You may contact us for information about recipients, processing locations, and safeguards relevant to personal information you have provided.
12. Security and Personal-Data Incidents
Our policy is to restrict access to support and privacy correspondence to people and providers who need it for the purposes described here. Safeguards must be appropriate to the information and risks involved.
Local photographs and settings are also affected by the security of your device, storage permissions, connected services, and backups. Protect access to your device and review who can access folders to which photographs are saved or synchronised.
No method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed completely secure. This policy does not promise absolute security or claim an unverified security certification.
If an incident affecting personal information under our control requires notification, we will notify the relevant authorities and affected individuals as required by applicable law.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in the Application, our information practices, or applicable requirements. The published policy will display its last-updated date.
Where additional notice or consent is required for a material change, we will provide the required notice or obtain the required consent before the relevant processing begins.
Updating this document does not, by itself, authorise processing that requires a separate permission, prominent disclosure, or affirmative consent.
